Pentacost & Lucy Johns [widow], maiden name unk.) 2/19/1803 Charlotte Co., VA. His father was Pascal; a Rev. War soldier and his mother was Mary Pennington. Elder (father)Pascal remarried (2) Tabitha Echols in Amelia Co., VA; lived in Wake Co., NC; by 1810 was no longer in NC. By 1816 census of Adams Co., (Natchez) MS id'd him living there. The younger Pascal & Mary Pentacost Tucker came to KY; on 1810 census of Johnson Co., NC and 1815 tax list of Green Co., KY and 1820 Federal Census for Green Co., KY. 1821, Pascal had died and will ret'd to court 10/22/1821. Mary died by 12/1821 as male children were bound out to learn trade; Pascal bound to Robert Spilman/Spillman (shoemaking); Richard to Adam Mitchell (farming); John to John Brown (wheelright); Epps to Daniel George (tailoring); Wm. to John Sherrill (shoe/boot-making); each till age 21; rec'd in Green Co., KY Order book dated 12/1821; Pascal later bound to Tapley Gupton, after his sister Mildred married Tapley.
