Family and friends are welcome to attend the setting of the tombstone and memorial service. The reason for choosing the date May 4, for the stting of the Civil War Tombstone and the Memorial service is because he died 98 years earlier on the same day and month, May 4, 1904. The Polston Cemetery is located on what was previously I. M. Presley Farm and presently owned by Bernice Reynolds Warren. Andrew M. Polston was the son of Andrew Polston and Jane Milligan (or Mulligan). Andrew M Polston's wife was Elizabeth Goodman and their children were: Arrena Polston, Anna Eliza Polston, Stephen Douglas Polston, William Preston Polston, George McClellan Polston, Robert Lee "Bob" Polston. The Polston family lived in the kessinger community of Hart County.
