"Mr. Wm. Bailey died at his home in Horse Cave last Thursday night. Mr. Bailey lived out near Hiseville, this county, for a long time, and was well known to a great many people in this section. He was trice married, his first wife being a Miss Maggard, and his last to a Miss Bradley. He leaves a window and several children, some of the latter residing in other States, to mourn his death. He was about seventy years of age at his death, a Mason in high standing, and a respected and valued citizen." Glasgow (KY) Weekly Times, 15 Apr 1896.
