News-Herald, Horse Cave, Ky, 4 Jan 2002: Ollie Staggs Bryant, 85, Bonnieville, died Friday, December 31, 1999 at the ROckford Manor Nursing Home in Louisville. She was a member of the Hodgenville Church of God of Prophecy. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Bryant, a son, Herman Bryant, three sisters, Janie Noe, Mary Crump and Lena Staggs and five brothers, Mack, Arthur, Ralph, Leo and Emmett Staggs. She is survived by a daughter, Jan Carter, Cave City; a brother, Jack Staggs, Bonnieville; five grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren and three great- great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. EST Monday, January 3, 2000, at Dixon-Rogers Funeral Home in Magnolia. Burial was in the Staggs Cemetery in Hart County.
