The Hart Co. native was the son of Leetha Day Logsdon and the late Leonard Day. Mr. Day was a retired farmer and business man. He was a deacon and a member of the Macedonia Baptist Church. Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. CST Tuesday at the Macedonia Baptist Church with Rev. J.C. Ramsey and Rev. Willard Saltsman officiating. Burial will be in the Cub Run Cemetery. Visitation will be after 6:30 p.m. Sunday and after 8:00 Monday at the Sego Funeral Home. The body will lie in state at the Macedonia Beptist Church on Tuesday, from 9:00 a.m. until time for services. In addition to his mother, he is survived by: Wife, Maevona Day Son, Mike Day & his wife Debbie, Cub Run Granddaughter, Amy Dennis, Mammoth Cave 2 great-grandchildren, Trevor and Brett Dennis 3 brothers, William Day, Louisville; D.C. Day, Cub Run; Jimmy Day, Cub Run 2 sisters, Louise Walters, Louisville Several nieces and nephews also survive
