Puckett, Samuel Lewis Dorsey, Ollie E. Stasel. Obit from Lancaster, California RATHEL, Lucy Oct. 5 1918 Nov. 2, 2003 A jewel on earth, a jewel in Heaven. Laura Lucinda Dorsey was born in Cub Run, Ky., but lived most of her life in Mobile, Ala., Ms. Lucy, as she was fondly known, passed away on Sunday evening. As she entered Heaven, we believe she was greeted by her husband, Milton, daughter Brenda, her parents and other family members. She said goodbye to three daughters, Norma Day of Andalusia, Ala., Vicki Edmunds of Rosamond, Calif., Maudia Grice of Fairborn, Ohio, and one brother, Everett Dorsey of Louisville, Ky. She has 12 grandchildren and 15 great- grandchildren. Ms. Lucy has been a member of the AVCC family for the past 7 years and enjoyed each person who was a part of her life there. Her beautiful singing and cheerful smile will be greatly missed by all who love her.
