Edwards Obit: Horse Cave -- Emma Lee Edwards, 99, Crestwood, formerly of Horse Cave, died at 2:30 PM EST Monday, November 25, at Baptist Northeast Hospital in LaGrange. She was a Hart Co. native, a housewife, and a member of Horse Cave Church of Christ. She was a daughter of the late Charlie B. & Maude Tucker Cook. She was preceded in death by her husband J. H. Edwards, in 1972, a son, Seaman William Allen Edwards, who died in the line of duty in 1945, and a great-granddaughter, Lauren Edwards, in 1993. Survivors include one daughter, Jean E. Bybee and husband James, Crestwood; one son, James B. Edwards and wife, Pat, Eminence; two granddaughters, three grandsons, five great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held at 1PM CST, Wednesday, Nov. 27, 2002, in the chapel of Winn Funeral Home with burial in Horse Cave Municipal Cemetery.
