"The death of Mrs. J. B. Edmunds Today At Home Near Beckton. Funeral services for Mrs. James B. Edmunds, 64, who died Thursday morning at her home in the Beckton section, will be held Friday 2:30 pm in the Edmunds home. Burial in cemetery there. Mrs. Edmunds had been ill since November and bedfast for two months. The passing of Mrs. Edmunds removes from our midst one of the conty's most substantial and highly respected women. She had been a resident of the Beckton community since childhood, and was known by all as a fine christian character. A daughter of the late Frank and Laura Edmunds Willis, she was born Nov 7, 1883 in Hart County near Horse Cave. She was married to Mr. Edmunds on May 15, 1909 and they have since resided at Beckton where Mr. Edmunds is engaged in farming. Besides her husband, she is survived by three sons and five daughters: Wilton Edmunds, Flat Rock, Mich.; Mrs. Laura Eubank, Coral Hill, Lewis Curd, Misses Catharine, Dorothy, Musie, Martha Ann Edmunds, all of Beckton; three sisters, Mrs Hattie Ams, Ft. Myers, Fla.; Mrs. Jessie Hildreth, Miss Annie Willis, Bowling Green. Three grandchildren also survive." Additional Comments: NOTE: I have no connection and no further information.
