He was born March 31, 1860. He professed faith in Christ early in life and united with the Methodist Church of Rocky Hill, Kentucky. Mr. Hodges was thrice married. Early in young manhood he married Miss Linda Kinney. To that union was born one daughter, Mrs. Leona Richardson, of Santa Barbara, Calif. He was again married to Lura Kinney. to this union were four children Lottie Frye, Charlie, Cloudy and Linnie. He was married the third time to Lou Linda Logsdon, November 25, 1896 and to this union eleven children, Emma, Maxine, William, Arlander, Craddock, Hollard, Ada, Ella, Raymond, Thomas and Bessie. He was a kind father and a good neighbor, and he will be missed, not only by his family but by his friends and neighbors. Funeral services were conducted by Rev. S.R. Gilliam, from the Camp Grounds Methodist Church at 2:30 o'clock, Tuesday afternoon. BUrial was in the church cemetery.
