News, Munfordville, KY Mrs. Loucinda Logsdon Hodges, age 67 years, died Friday, May 24. She was born June 5, 1870, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jack Logsdon. Mrs. Hodges professed faith in Christ early in life and united with the Methodist Church, and lived a faithful Christian life until death. She was married to D.K. Hodges November 26, 1896. To this union were born 11 children, 10 of whom survive, one child, Hollard Hodges, preceded in death. Her husband David King Hodges, passed away Monday, May 20, 1946. Surviving here are Emma Logsdon, Bonnieville; M.B. Hodges, Columbia, KY; William Hodges, Louisville; Lander Hodges, Bonnieville; Craddock Hodges, Louisivlle; Ida Riggs, Bonnieville; Ella Riggs, Louisville; Raymond Hodges, Bonnieville; and Bessie Hodges, of Bonnieville. Also four brothers and one sister, John Logsdon, Kessinger, Tom, Ben and Silas Logsdon, Louisville; Mrs. Gertrude Crain, Hodgenville. She is survived by 16 grandchildren. She was a faithful wife and mother. In addition, her children and grandchildren, she leaves many friends to morn her death. Funeral services were conducted by Rev. S.R. Gilliam, from Camp Ground Methodist Church, Sunday afternoon at 1:00 o'clock. Burial was in the church cemetery.
