He was of the Church of Christ faith, a native of Munfordville and the son of the late Willie and Roberta Polston Logsdon. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Louise Sherrod, three half brothers, Ronnie, Cecil and Paul Bradley Hogan; a half sister Irene Hogan Quinn; a grandson, Paul Francis Logsdon and a great granddaughter, Miranda Daugherty. Survivors include his former wife and best friend, Alta May House Logsdon, Munfordville; a daughter, Louise Greer, Knob Lick; four sons, Robert Paul Logsdon, Fairdale; Roy David Logsdon, Munfordville; Ernest Logsdon Jr., Petaluma, CA; Herbert Lenwood Logsdon, Elizabethtown; 15 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. Tuesday in the chapel of Sego Funeral Home in Munfordville, with Bro. Marty Edwards and Bro. Wayne Hatcher officiating. Burial was in the Munfordville Community Cemetery. Sego Funeral Home of Munfordville was in charge of arrangements.
