News-Herald, 23 January 2001: Leetha Day Logsdon, 88, Cub Run, died at 10:30 p.m. Wednesday, January 17, at Hardin Memorial Hospital in Elizabethtown. The Cub Run native was a homemaker and a member of Cub Run Baptist Church. She was a daughter of the late Tony and Emmer Childress Thompson and the widow of the late Leonard Day and the late Rev. M.J. Logsdon. Survivors include two duaghters, Louise Walters and Beatrice J. Pierce, both of Louisville; three sons, Earl William Day, Louisville, Daymon C. Day, CUb Run, Jimmy Day, Glasgow; 10 grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren; one step-son, Ronnie Logsdon, Munfordville; two step-daughters, Betty Nunn, Munfordivlle, Shirley Perry, Mt. Washington; two sisters, Edna Cave, Louisivlle and Edith Lewis, AL; one brother, Oren Thompson, Louisivlle; one half-sister, Mary Ann Deweese, FL; two half- brothers, Rayburn Thompson, Belleview, FL; and Horace Harvey Thompson, Louisivlle. She was preceded in death by a son, Wendell Day on February 13, 2000. Funeral services were conducted at 11 a.m., Sunday, January 21, 2001, at Cub Run Baptist Church with Bro. Clifford Ward and Bro. Charles Deweese officiating. Burial was in Cub Run Cemetery. Hawkins-Brooks Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
