He was a retired truck driver from Clifton Supply and Lumber Company, Louisville. He was the son of the late William Sam and Maudie Mae Brown Logsdon and a native of Hart County. Survivors include his wife, Lillie Riggs Logsdon, Louisville; six daughters, Frances McCubbin, Lorene Hornbeck and Ruth Smith, all of Louisville, Barbara Richardson, Bonnieville; Pauline Wooden, Owensboro, and Mary Jean Hatfield, Elizabethtown; three brothers, Walton Logsdon, Cincinnati, Ohio; Charles Logsdon, Hodgenville and Jackie Logsdon, Sonora; 21 grandchildren, 40 great-grandchildren and several great-great grandchildren. Funeral services were held at 12:00 noon CDT Saturday in the chapel of Sego Funeral Home in Munfordville with Rev. Robbie Russell officiating. Burial was in the Munfordville Municipal Cemetery. Personal Note by Eloise Presley Brown: This Hubert L Logsdon is first cousin to Arvel. Hubert and Frances Sexton were brother and sister. His mother Maudie Mae Brown was a sister to Ed Brown.
