Born: The Bronx in NYC 21 June 1933 Daughter of: Dr. Vincent and Mary Mina Corrao, decd. Moved to Munfordville 1935. Received degree in chemistry from Our Lady of Cincinnati College 1853; degree in psychology from Western KY University. Married Munfordville attorney George E. Lang 8 June 1953. Owned and successfully managed several real estate and other investments and was honored as one of the "Outstanding Young Women of America" 1970. Active in Munfordville civil events, was the first woman elected to the Munfordville City Council where she served 1964 until 1972. President of the Munfordville Women's Club 1960 to 1962; Secretary from 1958-1960; member from 1956 until death. Chairman of the Miss Hart County Beauty contest 1858; member of the Munfordville PTA 1960-1968; served on the Regional Hearing Program 1960-1965; volunteer for the Hart Co Health Department 1960-1965; co-chairman of the Hart Co March of Dimes program 1961 and 1962. Co-chairman of the John F. Kennedy Appalachian program; chairman of the Munfordville Cancer Drive 1964. Served on the executive board of the Munfordville Beautification Committee for many years. Chairman of the Munfordville Cleanup Campaign 1967. Member Hart Co Youth Committee Board; served on the Rape Crisis and Prevention Center Board of Directors for several terms. Lifelong Democrat; was Precinct Chairman in 1968 to 1972; member Hart Co Democratic Executive Committee for a number of years. Avid golfer, member Caveland Country Club. Chairman of the Ladies Day Golf organization, Woman's Club Annual Champion a record 10 times. Successfully played in many area golf tournaments. Member Our Lady of the Caves Catholic Church; was organist and teacher there over 20 years.
