He was a Barren County Native, a retired farmer, a member of Shady Grove Baptist Church and a member of james F. Keel Masonic Lodge #320 at Center. He was a son of the late Eugene and Bessie Mae Harlow Nunn. Survivors include his wife, Opal Nunn, Three Springs; three daughters, Christola White, Horse Cave, Dottie Ritter, Summer Shade, and Joan Charlotte Eye, Florida; two sons, Kenneth Nunn, Louisville, and Copely Nunn, Three Springs; 11 grand- children; 12 great-grandchildren; one step-granddaughter; two sisters, Christine Galloway and Rugh Slaughter, both of Horse Cave; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by two grandsons, Tony Huffman and Jimmy Nunn. Funeral services were held at 1:00 p.m. Sunday, July 21, 2002, in the chapel of Winn Funeral Home with burial in Houk Cemetery. Masonic services were conducted Saturday evening at the funeral home.
