He was a native of Hart County, a farmer and was a member, clerk and elder of Clear Point Cumberland Presbyterian Church. He was preceded in death by his father, Rev. James J. Ogden. Survivors include his wife, Barbara Ogden, Horse Cave; two daughters, Lori Martin, Hodgenville, Kathy Johnson, Bowling Green; one granddaughter, Andrea Johnson; one grandson, Kenny Martin; his mother, Annie Lee Ogden, Glasgow; one sister, Nancy Sutherland, Buffalo, KY; two brothers, James Robert Ogden, Elizabethtown, Carl Ogden, Cave City; three nephews and four nieces. Funeral services were held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 15 at Clear Poing Cumberland Presbyterian Church with burial in the Horse Cave Municipal Cemetery. Winn Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
