Polston, 93, Route 2, Munfordville, died at 7:03 p.m. Thursday, January 22 at Caverna Memorial Hospital in Horse Cave. He was the son of the late Bill and Rhodie Stephens Polston, a retired farmer and a member of the Camp Ground United Methodist Church. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Leatha Rosie Staggs Polston; nine daughters, Mrs. Ava Childress, Hodgenville; Mrs. Mitchell Butler, Magnolia; Mrs. Betty Mauldin, Upton; Mrs. Ella Hawkins, Mrs. Charlotte Philpott and Mrs. Ola Compton, all of Horse Cave; Mrs. Mabel Philpott and Mrs. Mayme Ward, both of Munfordville; Mrs. cora Pulliam, Elizabethtown; 55 grandchildren. Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. Sunday at concord Baptist Church with the Rev. Howard Srygler and Bro. Mike withrow officiating. Burial was in the concord cemetery. The body rested in the chapel of Sego Funeral Home in Munfordville until time for the services.
