The funeral was held Monday at 2 p.m. at the Shady Grove Baptist Church. Burial was in the Rock Cemetery in Metcalfe County. THe body rested in the chapel of Winn Funeral Home until time for services. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Virginia Waddell; his mother, Mrs. Gertrude Waddell; four brothers, Wynland (Pop) Waddell of Canmer, Tommy Waddell, Route 2, Hardyville, James Waddell, Sellersburg, Indiana, and C.L. Waddell, Jeffersonville, Indiana; two sisters, Mrs. Stanley Sexton, Louisville; and Mrs. Bill Byrd, Cave City; one uncle, Allen Waddell, Route 3, Horse Cave.
