Abstracted from the Henderson Evening Journal Apr 7, 1926

Friends gathered at the residence of W.H. Cabell on Center Street, Henderson KY,  for his 
funeral services. He was killed in an automobile accident on Letcher Street this past 
Monday( April 5 1926).  Just as the people were gathering, they were informed that the other 
passenger, James Tillman Sutton, of the accident had passed away, a mere hour before 
Cabell’s services. The services for W.H. Cabell were performed by Rev. Logan B. English, 
pastor of the First Baptist Church, where the widow had membership. A long procession of 
mourners drove to Smith Mills for the burial.
