I Willis Wright of the county of Henry and state of Kentucky being weak and low in health but of sound mind and memory do make this my last will and testament in manner and form as follows: First - It is my will and desire that the whole of my estate should be kept together until my wife dies or marries- Secondly - If my wife should marry or die it is my will that the negro woman Lucy and her increase should be valued and the amount of such valuation money shall be raised out of my estate and that amount I wish to be equally divided between my three children which I have by my first wife that is to say Lucy Estes, Catharine Tucker and Mary Miller to them & their heirs forever. Thirdly - In case my wife should marry and take to herself any part of my estate it is my will that at her death the same shall be returned and become a part of the same. Fourthly - It is my will and desire that after the above named negro Lucy and her increase is taken from my estate... [something] shall be equally divided between all my children named Lucy Estes, Catharine Tucker, Mary Miller, Mildred Wright, Elizabeth Wright, William Wright, John Wright, James Wright, Robert Wright, Fanny Wright and Nancy Wright to them and to their heirs forever. Fifthly - It is my will that my three first children namely Lucy Estes, Catharine Tucker and Mary Miller shall not be entitled to receive any part of the above negro woman Lucy nor her increase - But in every other respect they shall be entitled to receive their part of my estate exclusive of the above legacy, share and share alike with the rest of my children. Lastly I appoint my friend Peter Oliver and William Miller executors of this my last will and testament.
