Paducah Sun Democrat, Aug 12, 1966
Mary Katherine VAUGHAN, born Crutchfield, Ky on Oct 18, 1908.  She was the 
daughter of Walter R. and Bess Russell KIMBRO.  She married Wayne Vaughan in 
Cairo, IL on Aug 15, 1931. Died Billings Hospital, Chicago. Il.  on Aug 10, 
1966 of Breast Cancer.  She lived in Detroit, MI, Fort Wayne, IN and Grainger, 
IN, With her husband she owned Vaughan's Nursery and Landscaping.
   Survivors include Mrs. Lois Kimbro, stepmother, her brother John William 
Kimbro of Hickman County, a daughter, Ann Treadway and three grandchildren of 
Bethany, OK and her husband, Wayne Vaughan of Grainger, In.
   Hornbeak Funeral Home, 2pm, Saturday, Rev. J. F. McMinn, officiating.
Burial Rock Springs Primitive Baptist Church cemetery.

Additional Comments:
I have rewritten this obit, adding from personal knowledge details of my 
grandmother's life.  She was the sweetest, kind, loving and generous person I 
ever met. She suffered greatly the last 8 yrs of her life but she thought of 
others before herself.
