Wayne Kimbro Vaughan,66, died Fayetteville, TN. Rt. 4, Box 102 on August 
22,1976.Heart Attack with diabetes complications. Owned Vaughan's Nursery and 
Greenhouse. Granger, Indiana. Born March 31, 1910 Fulton, KY. Second wife, 
Ruth Young Veatch Survives along with a daughter, Ann Vaughan Treadway of 
Granger, IN; a stepdaughter, Mrs. Brenda Martin of Scotsboro, Alabama; four 
grandchildren; two half sisters, Mrs. Dorothy Holly of Coldwater, Michigan and 
Mrs. Glynn Vaughan Ward of Detroit.
   Services 2pm, Tuesday, Hornbeak Funeral Home. Officiating Rev. Ed Erskin of 
Harris Prairie Church of Christ. Burial Rock Springs Cemetery, Fulton County, 
Ky on Hwy 51.  Contributions to Harris Prairie Church of Christ building fund 
or St. Joseph County Heart Association.

Additional Comments:

















Grandpa was a self made successful businessman wth only an 8th grade 
education, he worked hard all his life.  There is so much I would love to ask 
him about his life. He didn't say much about his childhood but I know his 
parents divorced when he was 3 and Wayne lived with his father's brothers in 
Detroit and Clinton.  Both of his parents remarried and had other children.
