Nicholas, of the County of Hickman and State of Kentucky being of sound mind do this day make the following dis- position of the land I now own it being the County and State aforesaid. I give to my son William O Nicholas the portion of land in the northwest corner beginning on said corner thence east 92 poles thence south 65 poles thence north 18 poles thence west 44 poles thence north 81 poles to the beginning lot. No. 2 I give to my son M. V. T. Nicholas the portion of land beginning at NE corner thence west 92 poles thence south 65 thence east 39 thence south 20 poles to Public Road thence southeast with Public road to east boundary 53 poles thence north 99 poles to beginning. No. 3 I give to my son E. M. Nicholas that portion of land beginning at Southwest corner thence North 81 poles thence east 56 poles, thence South 24 poles, thence east 8 poles, thence south 39 poles, thence west 108 poles to the beginning. No. 4 I give to my daughter Martha E. Evans that portion of land beginning at the Southeast corner of my land thence North 63 poles thence west running with Public Road 53 poles thence North 20 poles, thence west 59 poles thence south 34 poles thence east 28 poles thence south 24 poles thence east 8 poles thence south 39 poles thence east 76 poles to beginning. I give the within named land to my children as named herein for the consider- ation of the love and affection that I have for each of them. Said children are to have full possession of the within named land at my death. It is under stood, however, that said children are to pay rent on said land sufficient to support my wife Elizabeth C. Nicholas and my son Green L. Nicholas during their life. It is my request that W. E. Bugg, John S. Berry, and W. H. Jackson to see that the written will is completed with this Jan 3 1884. Green H.
