MRS MELTON, 80, SUCCUMBS HERE
Mrs. Estella Coomes Melton, 102 Park avenue, died in Hopkins County Hospital 
at 12:30a.m. today after an illness of two years. She was 80.
Surviving are the husband, Millard Melton, 102 Park, two daughters, Mrs. Lewis 
Stephens, 63 Jagoe street and Mrs R.E. Sisk, 665 Victoria Street; a son, 
William Jewell Coomes, 415 East Arch Street; a brother, Clifton Harris, St. 
Louis, seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild
Funeral services will be conducted at 2p.m. Thursday at the Assembly of God 
church on South Seminary, with the Rev. F.R. Highfill offficiating. Burial 
will be in Odd Fellows cemetery.
The body will be at Harris Funeral Home until time for the funeral.
