This Cemetery was used to inter Drucilla Robinson in 1852. That is the first burial that we have been able to identify. We have identified several other grave sites. David Robinson - 1863 Nancy Carter Robinson - 1868 James A. Robinson - 1912. We have installed a VA stone. Margaret Hughes Robinson - 1894 This is some of Senior Family members buried there. This Cemetery in located on the original home place of David Robinson settled in about 1836/37 when he came to Kentucky from Buncombe County, N. C., about 3 or 4 miles from Mars Hill on the Little Ivy River. The present generation of the family have been going there since 1977 when we found the Cemetery. We have since installed a chain link fence. We are now holding a Family Reunion on the First Saturday in October. We clean up the grounds. This Robinson Cemetery is located about 1/4 mile from the Jackson Co. - Owsley Co. Line on Ky Hiway 30, in Jackson County.
