LANCASTER -- Hazel Della Turner, 91, of Cowden Court died Tuesday at
Garrard County Memorial Hospital.
 
Born April 9, 1911, in Jackson County, she was the daughter of the late
Andrew and Hattie Morris Cornelius. She was retired after 34 years with
Palm Beach Co., and a member of Lancaster Baptist Church. She was the
widow of J.C. Turner.
 
Survivors include a son, Burl Cornelius of Lancaster; two grandchildren;
and six great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two grandchildren.
 
Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Ramsey Funeral Home by the Rev. Barry
Jeffries. Burial will be in Lancaster Cemetery.
 
Pallbearers will be great-grandchildren. Honorary pallbearers are members
of Lancaster Volunteer Fire Department.
 
Visitation will be 5-9 p.m. Friday.
