Jefferson Co., KY Deed Book 8, p. 136 4 Aug 1806 Holt to Moody Note in margin:  
Original deed to H. Buckner Esq. Jr. /  request - of Moody  26 June 1806  	Isaac 
Holt of Jefferson Co., KY sold to William Moody, of the same county, for 102 pounds, 
land [total acres not mentioned] on Floyd's  Fork in Jefferson Co, it being  part of a 
6000 acre survey patented in the name of Nathaniel Sanders and conveyed from him to 
Robert Floyd and from Floyd to James Webb and from Webb to Julius Nicholious and from 
Nicholious to said Isaac Holt.

Description:  Beginning on a Elm, beech, and hickory, Buckner's corner thence S 105 
poles to 2 hickories on bank of a creek, thence W 3 pole to a beech, thence N 21 W 57 
poles to a hickory, beech, and walnut thence S 81 W 31 poles to 2 beeches thence N 54 
1/2 W 77 pole to 2 beeches in John Holt's line, thence N 53 1/2 E 233 pole to a poplar 
and beech corner to John Holt thence S 123 pole to a hickory and sugar thence W66 
poles to the Beginning.  

Signed Isaac Holt in presence of Thomas Tolbert, Adem? Horten, and Haley  Buckner  6 
Aug 1806 Deed proven by the oath of Haley Buckner and ordered certified.  24 Jan 1807 
Deed further proven by oath of Adin? Horten and ordered certified.  22 May 1807 Deed 
acknowledged by Isaac Holt and recorded.  [Note:  Haley Buckner was William Moody's 
brother-in-law.]

 Jefferson Co., KY Deed Book H, p. 334 19 Dec 1814 Tyler to Moody  Robert Tyler of 
Jefferson Co., KY sold to William Moody, of the same county, 100 acres of land on 
Floyd's Fork in Jefferson Co. for $250. 

Description:  Begining at 2 beeches, a white oak, and hickory on Yosh Arnold's line & 
corner to John Jones' thence with his line S 27 E 195 poles to two beeches and a 
dogwood in said Jones' line then N 85 E 84 poles a white oak sugar and beech corner in 
Potts' line then N 27 W 220 to 3 beeches and gum in said Arnold's line thence with his 
line 563 W 78 poles to the beginning.  Signed Robert Tyler  Signed, delivered, and 
acknowledged in the presence of Haley Buckner, Avory N. Buckner, and John (his mark) 
Puttoriff?  Certified on 20 Dec 1814.

Jefferson Co., KY Deed Book U, p. 321 21 August 1818 Moody to Hoke Note in margin:  
Original Delivered to Geo. Hoke 18 Decr 1822  	William Moody and Kezia, his wife of 
Jefferson Co., KY sold to George Hoke, of the same county, 100 acres on Floyd's Fork 
for $500.  

Description:  Beginning at 3 ashes due south 71 poles to live hickories on the bank of 
a lick thence west 3 poles to a beech thence N 21 West 59 poles to a Hickory beech and 
Walnut Tolberts old corner thence south 81 W 31 poles to two beeches thence N 54 1/2 W 
77 poles to two beeches in Holt's line thence N 53 1/2 ?E 233 pole to a poplar and 
beech Corner to Holts thence South 123 poles to a Hickory and sugar thence W 66 
poles to a elm beech & hickory thence south 34 poles to the beginning.  Signed William 
(his mark) Moody and Kezia Moody in the presence of Alexander Atlkison, John Hoke, 
Andrew Hoke  1 December 1818 Deed proven by oath of Andrew Hoke and certified.  2 Jan 
1819 Deed proven by Alexander Altkison  4 May 1820 (or 22?) Kezia Moody acknowledged 
the sale.
