Mathias YOCUM will be taking depositions in his behalf at Christopher HARDWICKS house in Shepherdsville for a suit in Chancery brought by John SCOTT, Jr. Vol. 3 # 30 - Monday, 4/3/1815 - whole number 134 Edmond TYLER, Jr. was appointed commissioner by the county court of Jefferson. Vol. 3 #51 - Monday 8/28/1815 - whole number 155 Jesse Jones living on the Broad River has found a stray mare. Louisville Gazette & Western Advertiser Vol. 1 #3 - Tuesday, 12/8/1807 - Printed by Joseph Charless John H. CLARKE has fresh goods for sale in Louisville. Vol. # 2 - Tuesday, 3/1/1808 John H. CLARKE will start for Baltimore in a few days and he asks those indebted to him to make payment. The Western Courier - Nicholas CLARKE, publisher, Louisville, Ky. Vol. 3, # 4 - Monday, 12/6/1812, Wholle # 108 On Sunday, the 28th, the capital at Frankfort was consumed by fire. Most of the public papers and printing office were preserved. Accomacations have been made for the members of the State Legislature so their duties will not be interrupted. Vol. 4, # 7 - Wednesday, 12/16/1814 Mr. John THOMPSON died on the 15th. He was from Maryland and left a large number of friends and relatives in Maryland and Kentucky. He was a young man and was buried in the Catholic Cemetery. WADDLE. vol. 5, #14 - Thursday, 1/4/1816 Wm. BOOTH & Miss Mary GRANT, daughter of Dr. GRANT, formerly of Maryland wre married the 21st at Russellville. Capt. James PATTON of Louisville died Friday. He was nearly 80 years old and one of the earliest settlers in Louisville. He came to this state with General CLARK as Capt. in the Illinois Regiment and was the first authorized pilot over the Falls. Vol. 1 # 26 - 12/22/1818 Jesse CLARK is in Louisville looking for his brother William, who came to Kentucky from North Carolina 13 years ago. He was informed that he moved from 20 miles below Henderson to upper Kentucky. Rebecca SIMMONS informs the public that her daughter has left home and is rumored to be at the falls of the Ohio at Louisville. Married to a Mr. SCOTT or Mr. STUMP. The broken hearted mother would like to hear from her daughter and know that she is safe. She also has the property and money which she is intitled. Vol. 3, #213 - Saturday, 10/21/1820 Daniel BOONE died Tuesday, 9/26/ at Charette Village. He was 90 years old and the first settler of Ky. He emigrated to upper Louisiana and settled on the Missouri River about 50 miles above St. Louis before the purchase of the country and received from the Spanish government a donation of 2000 arpens of land. The American Congress did not deprive him of what he received from the foreign government. He was buried at Charette Village. - Vol. 4 #379 - Saturday, 5/25/1822 Jno. S.
