Our sumpathy is extended to Miss Alberta Abstain and sister in the loss of
their mother, Mrs. Katie Abstain, who passed away last week at her home in
Jeffersontown on Watterson Trail.  She was buried Friday afternoon from the
Colored Baptist Church and interment took place in the cemetery near.  Miss
Abstain is teacher in the Newburg Colored School.
