Beauchamp Sr., 77, of South Louisville, died Saturday at SS. Mary & Elizabeth Hospital. He was a retired machine operator for Courier Cart Co., a Navy veteran of World War II and a member of First Church of God and American Legion Post 220. Survivors: his wife, the former Helen Ruth Petty; a son, William F. Beauchamp Jr.; a daughter, Carolyn M. Smith; a sister, Audrey Logsdon; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Funeral: 11 a.m. Tuesday, Arch L. Heady Southern Funeral Home, 3601 Taylor Blvd. Entombment: Louisville Memorial Gardens West Mausoleum. Visitation: 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. Monday. The funeral for Virginia Cosby, 64, of 17 Place Argent, will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at G. C. Williams Funeral Home, 1935 W. Broadway, with burial in Green Meadows Memorial Cemetery. he died in a fire Friday at her home. She was a member of Green Street Baptist Church. Survivors: a daughter, Delores Courtney; two brothers, Herbert and James Wales; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
