DOCTOR DIES IN YARD AT JEFFERSTOWN (Jefferson County)

Dr. Leslie A. BLANKENBAKER 66 prominent Jeffersontown physician died at 530 
o'clock Wednesday afternoon at his home, five hours after suffering a 
cerebral hemmoraghage while walking in his front yard.  

A native of Spencer County, Dr. BLANKENBAKER moved to Jefferstotown at the 
age of 16.  He was a graduate of the School of Medicine, University of 
Louisville.  an active Democrat and a member of the Spooky Hollow Club.  
Surviving are a son Leslie A. BALANKENBAKER, Jr. a dughter, Mrs. Charlott 
LOVEETT a brother Burr BLANKENBAKER, and three grandchildren.  Funeral 
services will be held at 3 o'clock Friday afternoon in the Methodist Church, 
Jeffersontown, Burila will in the Jeffersontown Cemetery.
