Bruce, Raymond Robert (Jack) age 53 years, residence 4032 St. Germaine Court, Sunday, April 
30, 1950, at 8:40 p.m. at Nichols General Hospital: survived by his wife, Mrs. Eleanor Hinze 
Bruce; his step-daughter, Mrs. D.B. Murrell, Jr; his sisters Mrs. E. Ward Jean and Miss Erma 
Bruce, all of Jeffersontown; also on step-grandson, D.B. Murrell, III.  Mr. Bruce is at 
Ratterman Bros. St. Matthews Chapel, 3711 Lexington Road.  Funeral Services will be held in 
the chapel Tuesday at 2 p.m.  Interment in Resthaven Cemetery.

Bruce, Lina C., age 88 years, Wednesday, November 15, 1950, at 4:45 a.m., at the residence 
of her daughter, Mrs. E. Ward Jean, Jeffersontown, Ky.  Devoted mother of Miss Esma C. Bruce 
and Mrs. E. Ward Jean; grandmother of Carol Eleanor Bruce of St. Matthews.  Mrs. Bruce is at 
the McAfee Funeral Home, Buechel where sevices will be conducted Friday morning.  November 
17, at 10 o'clock.  Interment in Resthaven Cemetery.
