Subject: Newspaper article  - Mrs. Briscoe

       Again it is the sad duty of the Taylorsville Chapter of the Order of Eastern Star to 
chronicle the death of a beloved sister, Mrs. William Briscoe whom God summoned to her 
heavenly home May 6th.
       Therefore be it resolved:  That we bow in humble submission to the will of our God 
who doeth all things well: That we have lost a loyal member; the community a true, faithful 
friend; the family a patient loving mother and a kind devoted wife: That we extend to this 
grief stricken family, in their great sorrow, our sincere sympathy: That these resolutions 
be recorded by our secretary, a copy be sent to the family, and one to the Spencer Magnet 
for publication.
