She was a native of Louisville, a 20-year employee of Louisville Bedding Co., and a member of Maryville Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her father James Lawson; a sister Doris Redmon; and a brother Richard Lawson. She is survived by her husband the Rev. Paul Bertram Sr., three daughters, Paula Bertram, Teresa Roberts and Carla Chester; two sons, Paul Bertram Jr. and Nathan Bertram, her mother, Gladys Irene Lawson; four sisters, Joyce Jones, Wilma Ells, Clara Suzie Bertram and Nancy Freeman; one brother Randall Lawson; a special niece Norma May; and nine grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, June 29, at Maryville-Baptist Church with Dr. Jack Roberts and Bro. Dwight Coffman officiating. Burial will be in Brookland Cemetery in Pioneer Village.Visitation will be from 1-9 p.m. on Wednesday at Schoppenhorst, Neurath & Brooks Funeral Home in Pioneer Village and after 10 a.m. Thursday at the church. Pallbearers will be Scott Bertram, Roy Grissom, David Lucas, Stanley Heaton, Dennis Roberts and Roy Chester.
