Browne, 73, formerly of Louisville, was killed instantly in an automobile accident yesterday near Mount Vernon, Kl. A retired contractor-painter, he had made his home in Georgetown, S.C. nine years. The car, driven by Browne's daughter, Mrs. Amos Cribb, Georgetown, ran off the road and overturned. Mrs. Cribb is in a hospital at Stanford, Ky. Her two children, Boyd Edward Jacobs and Ann Cribb, were unhurt. The group was returning from Louisville, where Mrs. Cribb had brought 7-months old Ann for treatment of an eye ailment. Mr. Browne is survived also by his wife, Mrs. Estelle Browne, Georgetown; a son , Stanley P. Browne, Augusta, Ga.; a sister, Mrs. William Chester, Louisville, and five other grandchildren. Devoted husband of Mrs. Estelle (nee Parrish) Browne, beloved father of Mrs. Amos (Francis) Cribb, Georgetown, South Carolina, and Mr. Stanly P. Browne of Augusta, Ga.; brother of Mrs. William (Susie) Chester; also survived by 7 grandchildren. Remains resting at Owen Funeral Home, 2611 Virginia Ave. Funeral services Monday afternoon at 2:30 p.m. from Owen Chapel. He was killed when the car driven by his daughter crashed near Mt. Vernon on their way from Louisville to their home in South Caroline. His daughter was seriously injured. His wife was Estella Parrish who has many relative here also
