Jasper now of Jeffersontown, died at 5 a.m., Monday morning in her ninetieth year, having seen her eighty-ninth birthday in August. Miss Ellaby, the only surviving member of her immediate family was of English descent, her father coming over at the age of 8 years and locating in Bullitt ounty, Ky., near King's Church. It was here, Miss Ellaby was born and spent most of her life. A staunch member of the Mount Washington Baptist church, she attended as long as she was able and was an active worker. Surviving, besides the niece with whom she lived, are another niece, Mrs. Myrtle Baird, of Louisville, and two nephews, W.D. Ellaby, of Mt. Washington; and Leslie Ellaby of Louisville. The funeral was from the Mount Washington Baptist church, Tuesday afternoon at 2:30 conducted by Rev. L.T. Wright of Jeffersontown, and burial was in Mt. Washington cemetery.
