Mrs. Mabel Floore, long active in Jeffersontown civic and church affairs, died today at St. 
Joseph Infirmary.  She was 52.  Her husband, Marshall Floore, Sr., operates Floore Brothers 
Coal Company in Jeffersontown.

Mrs. Floore was a past president of the Henry Watterson Garden club of Jeffersontown; garden 
chairman of the town's Woman's Club; member of the Jefferson County Fair Board in charge of 
flowers; the Jeffersontown Christian Church, and the board of the Christian Women's Home in 
Louisville.  She was a member of the Jeffersontown Homemakers for 31 years.

Besides her husband, she is survived by two sons, Marshall Floore, Jr., and Edwin Floor; a 
daughter, Miss Bettye Floore, and four grandchildren.

The funeral will be at 2:30 p.m. tomorrow at Myers Funeral Home, Jeffersontown, and at 2:45 
at the Christian Church.  Burial will be in Resthaven Memorial Park.
