Mary Frances Mattingly, 87, of Louisville, died Monday, February 18, 2002, at 
Camelot Health Care.  She was the former Mary Frances Murphy, a native of 
Oldham County, Kentucky, a former employee of the old Rose's Department Store 
and a member of West Broadway Baptist Church.  She is survived by two sons, 
Maynard and Arnold Mattingly, four daughters, Mary Frances Nation, Victory 
Stewart, and Vivian and Jewell Mattingly; a sister, Gladys Winters; three 
brothers, William, Raymond and David Murphy; 11 grandchildren and 16 great-
grandchildren.  Funeral: noon Thursday at Neurath & Underwood Funeral Home, 
725 East Market Street.  Burial:  Louisville Memorial Gardens East.  
Visitation: 2-9 p. m. Wednesday.
