"Miss Mary D. Trigg, of this place, died at St. Joseph Infirmary, Louisville, ysterday morning at three o'clock. The distressing news of her death was first announced by a telegram which arrrived here at seven in the morning of the same day. Miss Trigg had been in declining health for some time, and a few days ago, underwent an operation which hastened her death. She was the oldest child and only daughter of the late Mr. W. F. Trigg, who died several years ago in the Temple Hill country, and was a young lady well-know to alarge circle of acquaintenances all over Barren county. Combined with much attractiveness of person, she drew many friends to her by the sweetness of her disposition and many excellent qualities of mind. The news of her death will be learned with deep and lasting sorrow by all who knew her. "The remains were brought to Glasgow ysterday evening and to-day, at 2 o'clock after appropriate funeral services by Rev. J. R.
