James B. Mattingly Sr., 63, died Wednesday at Caritas Medical Center. He was a 
retired employee of American Standard and a member of Kenwood Church of 
Christ. 

Survivors: sons, James Jr. and Roger G. Mattingly; a daughter, Susan Hardwick; 
stepsons, Eugene Graybeal and Marcus L. Mattingly; a step-daughter, Linda 
McCandless; brothers Joseph E. and Charles F. Mattingly; a sister, Beulah 
Barr; five grandchildren. 

Funeral: 1 p.m. Saturday, Owen, 5317 Dixie Highway. Burial: Valley of Rest, 
LaGrange. Visitation: noon-4 and 6-9 p.m. Friday and after 10 a.m. Saturday. 

Additional Comments:
James is the son of James Bernard Mattingly and Elsie Jane Mullins, both of 
whom were born and raised in Marion County, Kentucky.
