Clara Bridges Purnell, 102, of Simpsonville, died Saturday, April 24, 2004.

She was a homemaker and co-founder of Purnell Sausage Company in Simpsonville.

She is survived by two sons, Allen Purnell of Simpsonville and Robert E. 
Purnell of Louisville; a daughter, Betty Moffett of Simpsonville.

The funeral will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Shannon Funeral Home. Visitation will 
be 3-9 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, 
Louisville. Expressions of sympathy may be made to Hospice of Louisville.
