On April 13th, 1933 at five P.M. the death angel visited our ranks and claimed for his own, one of our choice spirits, that of Miss Germania Ruth Jasper. Therefore be it resolved: That in her going, the Workers Council of the Jeffersontown Baptist Church has lost one of her loved members, and the Sunday School one of her most faithful and efficient teachers. That her loss is felt keenly from the Primary Girls Class which she taught to the oldest member of the Sunday School for whom she had a smile and a pleasant word. That we will strive to follow her example in self-forgetfulness and in service for our Master. That a copy of these resolutions be sent to her family, one to the Jeffersonian and one spread upon the minutes of our Council. ************************************* Date: Sat, 4 Aug 2001 14:48:10 EDT From: Pat45324@aol.com ************************************** Jasper -- Thursday, April 13, 1933 at 5 p.m., Germania Ruth Jasper, in her twenty-ninth year, beloved daughter of Charles and Mary Jasper, and sister of William and Kenneth Jasper, at Jefferson, Ky.
