Foree C. Jean Dies at Home of Daughter

       Foree C. Jean, 74, long a resident of Jefferson County, operating a farm near 
Seatonville for many years, died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. E. T. McAfee, at Mt. 
Washington, Saturday evening, April 1, at 7 o'clock.
       Besides Mrs. McAfee, who is Mt. Washington corresondent of The Jeffersonian, Mr. Jean 
is survived by two sons, O.R. Jean, of Fern Creek, and Willillam F. Jean, of Louisville; two 
grandchildren, Sarah Elizabeth and Earl Rhea Jean; one step-grandson, J. Vernon McAfee, of 
Bloomfield; a sister, Mrs. K.S. S. Mills, of Commerce, Texas; two brothers, Dr. J. M. Jean, 
of Keene, Ky., and F. L. Jean, of Jeffersontown.
       Funeral services were held from the home of his son, O.R. Jean, Monday afternoon at 
1:30, and at Cedar Springs Church of Christ at 2 o'clock.  Interment was in Chenoweth run 
Cemetery.
