Subject: obit - Murray, Apr 6, 1953

Curtis Bailey Murray, 82, a member of Taylorsville Masonic Lodge, No. 210, for 43 years, 
died suddenly yesterday.  He lived at 215 College Drive in Jeffersontown.

Mr. Murray worked in C. F. Jasper & Son grocery stores at Waterford and Jefferson for a 
number of years before he lost his sight 15 years ago.  He also was a deacon in the First 
Presbyterian Church in Jeffersontown up until that time, and had been a member since moving 
to the community 29 years ago.

His wife, Mrs. Tiberias Sanderlin Murray survives. The body will be at the Myers Funeral 
Home in Jeffersontown until 2:30 p.m. tomorrow, when the furneral will be at the First 
Baptist Church there.  Burial will be in Resthaven Memorial Park, where the Taylorsville 
lodge will conduct a graveside service.

Jeffersontown, Ky.  Beloved husband of Mrs. Tiberias (Sanderlin) Murray ; also survived by several nieces 
and nephews.   Funeral Wednesday, April 9, at 2:30 p.m., from the First Baptist Church, Jeffersontown, Ky. 
 Mr. Murray will be resting at the Myers Funeral Home, Jeffersontown, Ky.  Interment in Resthaven 
Cemetery.  The Taylorsville Lodge No. 210, F. and A.M.  will have services at the graveside.
