Col. Jason Rogers, of the Louisville legion, formerly military and civil governor died at Louisville, Ky., on the 3d inst. Col. Rogers was for many years an officer of the regular army of the United States, but had retired from it previous to the commencement of the Mexican War, but when that war was announced he promptly tendered his services to the government, and as lieutenant colonel of the Louisville Legion was on duty in Mexico.
