Rush of Fern Creek, passed away after three months' illness on Wednesday morning t 7 o'clock. The funeral was from the home this (Thursday) afternoon at 2:30, conducted by her pastor Rev. W. A. Ramsey of Beulah Presbyterian church, and burial was in Penn Run Cemetery. Mrs. Rush was childless and the survivors besides the husband are three sisters, Mrs. M.M. Thorne and Miss Marguerite Ireland of Louisville, and Mrs. J.B. Huff of Mars ... North Carolina; three brothers Charles Ireland fo Texas, Dr. R. ...sey Ireland of Louisville and William Ireland of Okolona. In addition to these are many slightly more distant relatives and bereaved friends numbering all who had ever known her over this county, Louisville and other states as well. A cultured capable woman of unusual executive ability, Mrs. Rush was born a leader and her loss will long be felt, particularly in her church where as a member, frequently an officer, and sometimes, a teacher in the Ladies Circles her presence seemed almost indispensable. She was a granddaughter of the late Rev. Downey Blair on the maternal side and numbered among the relatives in this connection several ministers, a doctor and a lawyer; on the paternal side, the grandfather and father were both physicians while the brother, Dr. R. L. Ireland is one of Louisville's leading surgeons.
