Joseph B. REID, 84, formerly in the grocery business at Fern Creek for 28 years, died 
yesterday in his home at Fern Creek.  The retired businessman was a director of the 
old Fern creek Bank.

Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Mary E. Reid; two daughters, Mrs. A.L. BROWN, Sr., and 
Mrs. A.R. HORNBECK; seven grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren.

Services will be held at 2:p.m. Wednesday from the McAfee Funeral Home, Buechel, with 
burial in Resthaven Cemetary.
