SPEARS, Mr. Lemuel Benton, passed away in his 57th year Wednesday, May 15, 1946.  at 7:50 am 
at his home 937 E. Kentucky Street, (Jefferson County) Beloved husband of Mrs. Tine Bell 
SPEARS (nee ROGERS) Devoted father of Mrs.. John V. THOMAS, Ralph JASPER, and Lemuel Tyler 
SPEARS.  also survived by his sister, Mrs. Emma BRYANT, his brothers Leon Wilson, Leslie and 
John Everett, and 5 grandchildren.  services for Mr. SPEARS will be held from the Arch L. 
Heady Funeral Home, Oak and Schiller Avenue Friday morning 1030 am interment in Resthaven 
Cemetery (Jefferson County)
