Chester SHOWALTER, Sr., 55 died today at his home, 1440 Catalpa, after an  illness of a 
year.  He had been employed for 15 years as stockroom clerk at  the Reynolds Metals Company. 
 He was a member of the Parkland Baptist church  and the Dayloight Masonic Lodge.

Surviving are his wife, the former Bessie LANGLEY, a daughter Miss Lorene F.  SHOWALTER, a 
son Chester L. JR. a brother J. C. SHOWALTER, Jr. Detroit, his  father J. Coleman SHOWALTER,
