Died: After undergoing surgery at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Louisville, Ky.
on Wednesday, February 9, 1972. Age 65.
Son of the late Ernest & Lizzie Biggerstaff Smith
Born in Tompkinsville, he was a graduate of Tompkinsville High School.
Survivors:
Wife: Ida K. Board Smith
Brothers: Cleo of Sieria Madra, CA., and Paul of Louisville, Ky.
Step-mother: Mrs. Ollie Smith.
Half-sisters: Mrs. Edd Duncan, Louisville, Mrs. Tom Rich, Upland, CA., Mrs.
Jackie Miller, New Whiteland, Ind., Mrs. Gail Marrs and Mrs. Nell Miller,
both of Tompkinsville.
Services: Conducted at the O. D. White Funeral Home Chapel on Friday,
February 11, at 3:00 p.m., by Rev. Lavern Butler. Burial was in Memorial
Gardens Cemetery.
